How Your Contributions Are Used:

The festival's organizer, Maryfest, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our expenses are covered by sponsorships from businesses and contributions from community members, combined with hotel/motel tourism tax grants. These sources make it possible to award over $20,000 in college scholarships to deserving area students. Donated funds also go toward building, transporting and maintaining our award-winning float that participates in over 15 parades and festivals around the Pacific Northwest each year.

We are a group of community members dedicated and driven to host a festival to promote community spirit and support area business success. As an all-volunteer organization, every contributed dollar is reinvested toward producing an amazing and memorable event, while support our scholarship program.

In addition to producing the annual Strawberry Festival in Marysville, WA, the Strawberry Festival travels to many other communities throughout Washington, Oregon, and British Columbia. Our goal, as ambassadors for Marysville and the surrounding communities, is to promote our beautiful city and encourage tourism to our area. Our participation in these regional festivals promotes a highly positive image of Marysville. Your generous contributions enable us to continue our mission of responsible stewardship.
