Festival President Welcomes You!

Gail Frost
2025-2026 President

I am thrilled to serve as President for the 2025-2026 Marysville Strawberry Festival Season.

The Board, volunteers, and community of Marysville would like to welcome you to Washington’s 3rd largest festival and parade.

We extend sincere thanks to our sponsors, dedicated volunteers and others who call the Marysville and Tulalip communities home. We have worked together year-round to bring you an exciting, memorable Strawberry Festival and Grand Parade in 2025 that you won't want to miss.

I would like to express a special thank you to our key partners, Tulalip Resort and Casino and the City of Marysville, the cream of the crop when it comes to sponsors. Their support for the festival is unmatched.

All of us at the festival have been busy working on this year’s celebration, a testament to our area's agricultural heritage of ripe, red juicy berries. We invite you, your family and your friends to join in the activities. They include something for all ages to enjoy, whether you've been residents for generations, visitors from outside the area who have a story about the "good ole' days" picking strawberries as a youth, or you're just looking for a fun weekend out with family. Festivals bring us together to remind us that celebrating through fun summer activities and entertainment is part of a community’s identity, whether you’re a parade watcher, festival-goer, or volunteer.

The Strawberry Festival is getting an early start this year to say “Thank You” to local Marysville and Tulalip families and individuals who make the festival and parade a don’t miss event on their family’s summer calendar. The festival is teaming up with the Marysville Skate Center and Strawberry Lanes for a little free fun. It’s a regular “roll-and-bowl-a-rama, with roller skating (June 16) and bowling (June 18) for ages 14 and under! Check inside this guide for more details.

Tuesday, June 17 features an evening Fashion Show in the Marysville Opera House supporting royalty scholarships, in partnership with the Greater Marysville Tulalip Chamber of Commerce. Festival activities will take things up a notch on Thursday, June 19 with the opening of the Funtastic Traveling Shows amusement rides and arcade games of chance for fun prizes. We're also thrilled to welcome the epic adult Trike Races pedaling through obstacles on downtown 3rd Street. The Market at Asbery Field features dozens of craft and commercial vendors, exotic fair food, a three-day beer and wine garden, and free live entertainment led by Danny Vernon's Illusions of Elvis, the Marysville Community Band, School of Rock, Seattle's "Right On" band The Davanos, and two shows featuring the real reptiles of Reptile Isle. Ring-side, we've also got two shows of Combat pro wrestling on Saturday, Strawberry Shortcake Eating Contests, pony rides, human-sized "hamster balls" on water, bungee jumping and much more. Don't miss the annual Strawberry Cup Pickleball Tournament at Jennings Park, a Cornhole Tournament Thursday behind Five Rights Brewing downtown, and a Car Show on 3rd Street to close out the festivities.

Top off your fun Saturday with the dazzling Grand Parade at 5 p.m., presented by the Tulalip Resort and Casino. Among the flotilla of amazing floats, bands, artists and entrants, keep a special eye out for the Clan Gordon Pipe Band, Seattle Cossacks Motorcycle Stunt and Drill Team and the Mariner Moose, among plenty of other surprises.

With parade waves always ready, the Marysville Strawberry Festival Royalty, Float, and Float Crew will be on the road from April-October traveling throughout Washington, Oregon, and British Columbia representing our community in several parades. If you see our colorful trailer on the road give us a honk or wave, or if you see us at a parade stop by and say hello! We would love to meet you, and we always have room for more volunteers! Come on....who doesn't want to walk with the float or carry a banner in the parade.

If you are interested in becoming involved with Strawberry Festival, please check out our website under Volunteers, contact us through email at maryfest.org@gmail.com or leave a voicemail at (360) 659-7664.

Hope to see you the third weekend in June 2025!
