Festival President Welcomes You!

I am pleased to serve as President for the 2023-2024 Marysville Strawberry Festival Season.

We want our sponsors, dedicated volunteers, and community to know that we are working together and moving forward to deliver an unforgettable Strawberry Festival in 2024.

The Board, volunteers, and the community of Marysville would like to welcome you to Washington’s 3^rd largest parade and festival.

I want to express a special thank you to our key partners, Tulalip Resort and Casino, the City of Marysville, and all of our other wonderful sponsors that help support the festival.

All of us at the festival have been busy working on this year’s celebration.  We would like to invite you, your family, and your friends to join in the activities, which will include something for all ages to enjoy. Festivals bring us together to remind us that celebrating through fun activities and entertainment is part of a community’s healing and “return to normalcy,” whether you’re a parade watcher, festivalgoer, or volunteer.

Festival activities will start with the inaugural Golf Tournament hosted by the Marysville Tulalip Chamber of Commerce.  We will continue with a full week of activities including the Fashion Show and Luncheon, The Market featuring dozens of vendors, food, free live entertainment and pro wrestling, the Strawberry Shortcake Eating Contest, Pickel Ball Tournament, Car Show, Rose Planting, Carnival. I am happy to announce that due to popular demand we are bringing back the epic Trike Races! And of course, don’t forget the main event, the Grand Parade, on Saturday night.

As in past years, Marysville Strawberry Festival Royalty, Float, and Float Crew will be busy from April-October traveling throughout Washington, Oregon, and British Columbia representing our community in different parades. If you see our colorful trailer on the road give us a honk or wave, or if you see us at a parade stop by and say hello!  We would love to meet you, and we always have room for more volunteers!
