7-9 p.m. - Who's Your Daddy
Who’s Your Daddy consists of five semi-responsible guys with jobs and families and stuff who made the mistake of letting their kids name the band 14 years ago. Known for their “stand on the bar and sing along” shows, the Daddies play an eclectic mix of rock, funk, pop and even some country that will have you grabbing your air guitar and rocking out like a kid again.
Saturday, June 20
2-3 p.m. - Marysville Community Band - performing patriotic tunes in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the U.S.
The Strawberry Festival is proud to welcome back the Marysville Community Band, a nonprofit organization of volunteer musicians of all ages and abilities, from students to established professionals and retirees. Their appearance this year is extra special, as the band will be performing patriotic tunes to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the U.S. The band performs several times a year at community events and regular concerts for the sheer joy of making music. They don’t charge admission to concerts, either. Their mission is to build community in Marysville through making music... one note at a time!
3-5 p.m. - Psydela - Everett's favorite Indie band
Psydela likens themselves as Everett's favorite Indie and psychodelic rock band. The band took time away from playing live recently to focus more attention on their music. The Strawberry Festival is happy to give them back on an outdoor venue to send out good vibes to listeners. You can find the band on Instagram @psydela. The band has played the Musicology Co. in Edmonds, The Grape & Grain in Everett, Annual Edmonds Porch Fest, Everett Civic Auditorium, Gasworks Park in Seattle, Edmonds Main Street Commons and other venues.
7-9 p.m. - The Davanos - Seattle's Most Right on Classic Rock Band
The Davanos were co-founded in 2003 by the incredibly talented duo of guitarist Jerry Battista and drummer Fred Holzman, while bassist Greg Youtsey completes the trio. Battista played guitar for the seminal Seattle band The Allies in 1982-83. The Davanos play a kick-ass combination of classic rock, blues, country western along with some of their own originals. Battista, Holzman and Youtsey are all exceptional vocalists and share both lead and backing vocals. Featuring incredible harmonies and outstanding musicianship, The Davanos can always be counted on to put on a highly entertaining show whether you come to dance or just watch and listen. Voted "Seattle’s Best Rock Band in 2018" by the Seattle Weekly, The Davanos are one of the most talented and entertaining bands on the Seattle live music scene today!
Sunday, June 21
2 shows at 1 and 3 p.m. - The Reptile Man
The Reptile Man presents live animal demonstrations all over the Pacific Northwest. The show portion of the service he provides runs about 30-40 minutes in which he talks about 8 to 12 reptiles from all over the world. All of the venomous species have been surgically devenomized, meaning that they pose no serious risk of injury to anyone. After the show the adults and kids will have the opportunity to handle or touch between 3 and 4 of the animals for another 10 to 15 minutes (the whole event lasts about 45 minutes to an hour).
